Aged Care providers play a crucial role in caring for our elderly and supporting their quality of life. We work with aged care providers to support service excellence and promote consumer wellbeing. We assist aged care organisations to adopt a holistic approach to promoting consumer and staff wellbeing through integrating a wellbeing goals and performance measurement into policies, procedures and systems in accordance with the aged care standards.
The Healthy Environs team have a comprehensive understanding of the Australian Aged Care Quality Standards. We are skilled at engaging with residents whilst respecting their history, lifestyle choices and culture.
Public Health Protection
With experienced environmental health professionals in our team, Healthy Environs offers capability in environmental health field assessment and risk management. Our project experience includes management planning and risk assessment for the use of recycled water in urban environments and mosquito surveillance programs to inform mosquito risk management strategies for local government. Our team works closely with relevant regulatory agencies in public and environmental health.
Public Health Planning
Health is an integral part of any community and local governments play a key role in providing environments which support good health and wellbeing. Public Health and Community Wellbeing Plans articulate the strategies that Councils and their communities will take to maintain and improve health for all people who live, work, study and play in their area. Healthy Environs facilities the planning process of Councils and their community partners. Our work embraces a ‘social model of health’ which assesses the social determinants which influence health at the local population level.
